Emergency medical technician (EMT) is a term to denote a person as a life saver & paramedic who provides immediate first aid treatment and life saving treatment associated with emergency medical services. EMTs are clinicians, trained to respond quickly to emergency situations regarding medical issues, traumatic injuries and accident scenes.
The individual should have dynamic skills and the dynamic brain that should activate right procedure for the right injured with specific life saving procedures. The individual should have faster actions with accurate terms of emergency techniques. Usage of multiple medical life saving equipments is very much important when at the time of attempting the injured patient. The individual should also work with smart brain to save lives with high perseverance. Attempting the critically ill patients and transporting them to a safer health care provider who can provide better treatments to save the injured life. Should be able at perform multiple medical tasks also should manage greater range of medication.
EMTs are most commonly found working in places where the injured needs instant treatments which will be the first aid to save the injured lives, EMTs are often employed by private health care providers, governments, and hospitals, ambulances etc., but are also often employed by fire departments, in police departments. EMTs operate under a limited scope of practice. EMTs are usually supervised by a medical director, who is a medical physician.
